Yes! I called it my little princess. As soon as she put the dress on, she walked so gracefully, sit like a lady, and constantly looking at herself in the mirror. How adorable :-)
This a a maxi version of Figgy's scirocco. I've always wanted to make a maxi dress for Miss M , and i guess this time in a warm summer day is a perfect excuse to make one for her.
As a first timer working with Figgy's pattern, i have to admit the pattern is easy to follow!
The only thing that i changed was the bottom of the the dress. I just made a simple A-line long skirt. At first, i would like to add some ruffles at the bottom of the dress, but i guess i just want to keep it simple and leave it as it is. But i do added some ruffles on the front top of the dress to add some vintage / girly look.
This project was for Kids Clothes Week Challenge for Summer 2013 , my very first ever challenge. I was quiet nervous, since lots of fellow bloggers have done increadibly beautiful and awesome creations. But, i do really happy and satisfied with my own project. Check more photos at my Flickr.
Thank you for viewing my blog and until the next project!
