BAMBIKA is a stay home mom from the Netherlands, who loves handmade stuffs and all things beautiful.

BAMBIKA is about creating happy memories. Just like my little Bambi Mika, who brings joys and colours in my life.

My sewing obsession began three years ago, since the birth of my precious daughter, Mika. My husband bought me a "beginner" sewing machine as a gift on mother's day, how lovely! But since i've never sewn in my whole life, i didn't have a clue how to use my own sewing machine! So i decided to take a sewing class. Too bad the sewing lessons didn't last long, due to a very stressful moments at some stage.

Somehow, i began to collect some fabrics as my new hobby. Then i realised that i need to sew again. And ever since, i got addicted to sew cute dresses for my little daughter and also for myself. Occasionaly i sew some pillowcases, prints-on tees and some other creative stuffs.

This year on mother's day, my husband "upgrade" my sewing machine,an ELNA experience 520 complete with a Leweinstein Lockmachine (serger).  I couldn't be more happier! Now i can finish my sewing project with a professional look.

Besides sewing, cooking is my passion!In this blog i will share you some of my favorite recipes.
